SAWA Studios ("we", "us", "our") values your privacy. This page explains what information we collect when you use the SAWA app and website, how we use it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
When you create an account or book a workshop, we collect:
- Your first and last name
- Your phone number (used as your account identifier)
- Your email address (optional)
- A profile photo if you upload one
- Booking history — which workshops you applied for, attended, or were waitlisted on
- Payment records — amount, method (card / Instapay / cash), and the resulting receipt; full card details never reach our servers, they are handled by our payment processor
- Free-text notes you provide (interview phone, preferred call time, experience notes)
What we do with it
We use this information to:
- Manage your bookings, waitlist position, and membership
- Contact you about your bookings, interviews, or studio updates
- Print your membership card
- Process payments and account balances
- Improve the app
We do not sell your information to third parties.
Who we share it with
- **Payment processor (Paymob).** When you pay by card, Paymob handles the transaction. Their privacy policy applies to that payment data.
- **Instapay.** When you transfer via Instapay, the bank handles the transaction; we only see the uploaded proof.
- **Our staff.** Admin and front-desk team members can see your booking and contact details to operate the studio.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and booking history for as long as you have an active account with us, and for a reasonable period after that for accounting and legal reasons.
Your rights
You can:
- See the information we hold about you (it's mostly visible inside the app)
- Ask us to correct anything wrong — your phone number is locked in the app, but our team can update it
- Ask us to delete your account; we'll remove personal data and keep only what we are legally required to keep

Cookies and sessions
We use a session cookie to keep you signed in. We don't run third-party trackers.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top and, when the change is significant, notify you in the app.
